LASER DENTISTRY

A laser produces light that distinguished from ordinary light by two properties: one, it is a single color, also known as mono-chromaticism. The Thind Dental Academy of Laser Dentistry has formally adopted the Curriculum Guidelines and Standards for Dental Laser Education. The education committee of the thind Dental Academy regularly reviews and interprets these educational standards. Standard Proficiency is the basic level of education in dental laser usage, including specific laser proficiency and laboratory knowledge. Curriculum will include emphasis on the basics of laser physics, laser energy and safety, practice implementation and fundamental laser procedures. This course is on laser dental surgery. Students will be provided adequate opportunity to know about laser surgeries. Surgeries will be performed by student themselves under the guidance of experienced faculty member.
